1980 Midas Traveler
This 1980 Scout Traveler was originally from Arizona and 99% free of rust! It was built in August of 1979 KGD10348, which makes it the 347th 1980 model built in the first days of '80 production, this explains the IH emblems on the fenders which were omitted on 1980 models, it also would be 1 of the first 1980 Midas editions! It also had the white/yellow/red Rallye stripes originally for which the previous owner elected to put on the spear stripes when the vehicle was painted about 5 years ago, it has been in a collectors warehouse in Georgia since then. The Rallye and midas packages together is VERY RARE!
The Specs; 345 v8 Automatic, Midas package with 2 swivel bucket seats, 2 passenger buckets and (rare) 3rd seat option, has matching door panels and carpet with overhead map lights and clock console. A/C, P/S, P/B, Dana 44 axles with 3:54 gears, Dana 300 Transsfer case, BF Goodrich 11:50X32" tires on 8 inch chrome wheels, (should of had urethaine turbine wheels) tilt steering, cruise control, tinted sliding side windows, extended shackles, trailer hitch. Items replaced: New Parking and maker lights, Taillights, upper radiator hose, lower 80 trim body molding, grille guard. Inteior in really good shape with little sun fade from the western sun. No cracks in dash pad. As stated vehicle was stored in a warehouse and has been sitting for a few years, we have been driving it from time to time and fixing the little things but we are sure like with all stored vehicles there is bound to be more to do.
$12,000 OBO SOLD
