| Stan's headers are 16 gage tube (heavier than most) except when code is "5" or when ending in -14 (these are 14 gage .083 tube with 1/4" flanges). All headers are ground flat on all gasket surfaces. All part numbers ending in "Y" are "TRI_Y DESIGN" for more horsepower and torque for RV, street or towing. |
| We make regular headers and exhaust as well as a line of extra heavy headers with extra thick flanges. Most headers come "Industrial" chrome plated or painted and Stan's also offer Ceramic coated headers as well. | | |

In Stan's "TRI-Y DESIGN" headers, the primary tubes are paired in a 4-into-2 and 2-into-l formation. This increases the cylinder scavenging effect and improves engine breathing by utilizing the exhaust velocity of one cylinder to help the exhaust velocity of another.
